LAMBORGHINI AVVENTURA 2019: A HURACÁN EVO EXPEDITION ABOVE
THE ARCTIC CIRCLE TO EXPLORE NORWAY'S LOFOTEN ISLANDS
Norway has become the latest destination for #lamborghiniavventura,
the series of #lamborghini expeditions organized to discover
the most spectacular places and roads in the world. After
Andalusia, Transylvania, the Norwegian fjords and Iceland, #lamborghiniavventura
returned to Norway, this time focusing on the Lofoten
Islands, a unique destination to test the dynamism of the
new #huracanevo.
This incredible journey saw seven Lamborghinis traveling
through an archipelago of islands connected by tunnels and
roads that appear to float on water, with picturesque
bridges, cliffs and mountains formed of the oldest rocks in
Europe. This untouched landscape beyond the Arctic Circle,
sculpted by glaciation, features spectacular alternations of
scenery where peaks give way to coastal plains washed by
crystalline waters. It's a place that celebrates its nature:
sea eagles, whales, orcas and codfish, making the Lofoten
islands one of the biggest producers of stockfish.
The convoy of seven Huracáns set off from Harstad to
complete the first stage of the journey, connecting Norway
to the archipelago. The first stopover was in Henningsvær, a
fishing village built on a group of small islands at the
foot of a cliff overhanging the sea, known for what many
consider to be the most beautiful football ground in the
world that almost touches the sea.
The Lamborghinis then continued south, passing landscapes
studded with the typical pyramid-shaped wooden racks used by
locals to dry cod from February to June. The first day ended
in Nusfjord, one of the oldest and best preserved fishing
villages in Norway, known for its rorbus, the historic red
dwellings built over the water where fishermen of old used
to spend their time when not out in their boats.
The next day the journey continued to the north, with a
stopover in Ramberg on the island of Flakstadøya, which
boasts the island's largest beach whose white sands and
crystalline waters are reminiscent of the Caribbean. Passing
breathtaking scenery along coastal roads, the convoy entered
Svolvær, population 4700, considered to be the oldest town
in the Arctic Circle.
Setting off from Svolvær, the journey concluded after 630
kilometers at the starting point, Harstad in northern Norway
– a return to civilization following mile after mile of
nature and silence – with an unforgettable view of the
midnight sun from the summit of Mount Keipen.

2019: UNA EXPEDICIÓN HURACÁN EVO SOBRE EL CÍRCULO ÁRTICO
PARA EXPLORAR LAS ISLAS LOFOTEN DE NORUEGA
Noruega se ha convertido en el último destino de #lamborghiniavventura,
la serie de expediciones #lamborghini organizadas para
descubrir los lugares y caminos más espectaculares del mundo.
Después de Andalucía, Transilvania, los fiordos noruegos e
Islandia, #lamborghiniavventura regresó a Noruega, esta vez
centrándose en las Islas Lofoten, un destino único para
probar el dinamismo del nuevo #huracanevo.
En este increíble viaje, siete Lamborghinis viajaron a
través de un archipiélago de islas conectadas por túneles y
caminos que parecen flotar sobre el agua, con pintorescos
puentes, acantilados y montañas formados por las rocas más
antiguas de Europa. Este paisaje virgen más allá del Círculo
Polar Ártico, esculpido por la glaciación, presenta
espectaculares alternancias de paisajes donde los picos dan
paso a las llanuras costeras bañadas por aguas cristalinas.
Es un lugar que celebra su naturaleza: águilas marinas,
ballenas, orcas y bacalaos, lo que convierte a las islas
Lofoten en uno de los mayores productores de stockfish.
El convoy de siete Huracanes partió de Harstad para
completar la primera etapa del viaje, conectando Noruega con
el archipiélago. La primera escala fue en Henningsvær, un
pueblo de pescadores construido en un grupo de pequeñas
islas al pie de un acantilado que domina el mar, conocido
por lo que muchos consideran el campo de fútbol más hermoso
del mundo que casi toca el mar.
Luego, los Lamborghinis continuaron hacia el sur, pasando
paisajes tachonados con los típicos bastidores de madera en
forma de pirámide utilizados por los lugareños para secar el
bacalao de febrero a junio. El primer día terminó en
Nusfjord, uno de los pueblos pesqueros más antiguos y mejor
conservados de Noruega, conocido por su rorbus, las
históricas viviendas rojas construidas sobre el agua donde
los pescadores antiguos solían pasar su tiempo cuando no
estaban en sus barcos.
Al día siguiente, el viaje continuó hacia el norte, con una
escala en Ramberg, en la isla de Flakstadøya, que cuenta con
la playa más grande de la isla, cuyas arenas blancas y aguas
cristalinas recuerdan al Caribe. Pasando por paisajes
impresionantes a lo largo de las carreteras costeras, el
convoy entró en Svolvær, población 4700, considerada la
ciudad más antigua del Círculo Polar Ártico.
Partiendo de Svolvær, el viaje concluyó después de 630
kilómetros en el punto de partida, Harstad, en el norte de
Noruega, un regreso a la civilización tras millas y millas
de naturaleza y silencio, con una vista inolvidable del sol
de medianoche desde la cima del Monte Keipen.
